Jamaican representative Alex Powell won the Pole Award after qualifying fastest in the Panamerican Rok Cup Challenge at the Autódromo Xrp Motorpark 1, Columbia.
Alex topped off the day by winning Heat 1 of the Mini ROK class and is well set for the two Heats that will take place on Saturday August 18.
“Alex messed up at the start but recovered by the first corner to retake the lead” explains John Powell, Alex’s father. After being passed during the race, he won after a “fantastic pass” on the last lap.
The JMMC wishes Alex good luck for a safe and successful event.
