Reigning JKA National and Junior Champion Senna Summerbell has been selected by the FIA Americas to represent Jamaica in the FIA Americas E-Karting Cup in Conde, Brazil from 24th to 26th of November.
The E-Karting Cup of FIA Americas is part of the ROTAX MAX Challenge Grand Finals, from Nov. 24th – Dec. 1st, 2018. Only 16 drivers, each from a different country, from 14 to 17 years old have been selected to participate in this event. In addition to racing for the FIA Americas E-Karting Cup, if Senna is among the first four finishers he will have a chance to compete in the DEKM Rotax Grand Final later that week. The DEKM is the world’s first electronic kart championship.
This will be Senna’s first time driving an electric kart.
