Seven of Jamaica’s best young racers have been selected to participate in a FIA Young Driver Advanced Training course at Dover Raceway on November 10 – 11, 2018.
The seven drivers are (pictured): Justin Sirgarny, Lamar Larmond, Matthew Lee, Joshua Sirgarny, Demar Lee, Lee Vaz and Jason Chen. Although also selected, Senna Summerbell is away at school and cannot attend.
The project is overseen by JMMC Vice-Chair Marcia Dawes, and is a continuation of the FIA Young Driver training that took place in 2017 at the Palisadoes Raceway. These seven racers were selected for Advanced Training based on their performances during the 2017 programme. FIA certified trainers Enrique Limon and Francisco Guzzy arrive from Mexico tomorrow.
