Jamaican representative Alex Powell got off to a promising start at today’s first day of Round 2 of the WSK Final Cup.
Showing marked improvement in the rain conditions at the 7 Laghi International Circuit in Castelletto di Branduzzo in Pavia, Italy, Alex qualified 7th overall in the ROK mini class, earning 3rd place on the grid for Heat 1.
“Alex qualified 7th in the rain, he is learning to drive in the wet and improving. In the first Heat, the track dried in some sections, and damp in other sections and he won the Heat” reported his father John Powell.
