Christopher “Teach” McFarlane reporting for the JMMC on Thursday’s progress for Jamaican Juniors Thomas (Tommi) Gore, Ryan Chisholm and Zander Williams: “This afternoon was good and bad. One engine didn’t work so it had to be changed, all your boys were fast in the last session but the person to beat for them will be Maloney who was very fast.”
“Tommi had a moment to battle and it made Tommi faster and matching times for 3 laps, however consistency fell and Maloney checked out.”
“Young Chisholm is driving well and should be competitive on times, however needs a little more track time to get the lines right. Young Williams was also fast and has to also get the lines sorted.”
“They all need more seat time in the Direct-Drive Karts, which seem to have quite a bit of torque. Tommi though sounded very positive at the end of his final session.”
“The challenge is none our guys have fitted weights as yet. Once the weight is fitted to their karts and all other karts we will see how the times go in the afternoon tomorrow (Friday).”
The JMMC thank Teach for his report, and wish Tommi, Ryan and Zander good luck for a safe and successful race weekend.
