Jamaican Christopher “Teach” McFarlane made his Rally Cross debut at Round 3 of Crabbs Raceway Motorsports Club 2019 Rally Sprint / Rally Cross series at Antigua’s Crabbs Raceway on April 13th & 14th.
Driving a Peugeot in the Front Wheel Drive class, Teach began the double header weekend by qualifying 2nd for Saturday’s Rally Sprint, then finishing 2nd in the Final.
For Sunday’s Rally Cross, Teach finished 2nd in Q1, then 1st in Q2, followed by 2nd in Q3 setting up a promising Final. A hole-shot in the Final saw Teach leading after the first corner and for the next two laps, before running low on fuel, eventually finishing last.
