Jamaican Alex Powell got off to a good start in his quest for the top spot in the WSK Euro Series championship by winning Heat 1 at ASK Angerville in Angerville, France today April 27. Then, while leading Heat 2, an electrical problem with the Rev Control unit supplied to him by the Organizers shut down his kart, dropping him to 14th.

Putting that disappointment behind him, he rebounded by winning Heat 3, before finishing 7th in Heat 4 in cold, wet, windy conditions. The event concludes with a Pre-Final and Final tomorrow.

Angerville is 7 hours ahead of Jamaica time. Schedule and results at http://www.wskarting.it/results_2019.asp?r=2&c=14&s=WSK_Euro
