Jamaican Pierre Beswick who resides in TCI, finished 3rd in the Modified 1 class and 36th Overall out of 93 starters of SOL Rally Barbados 2019 which concluded on Sunday June 2nd. Beswick with Co-Driver Leslie Evanson put their 2007 Citroen C2 R2 Max on the podium through a combination of pace and persistence.
As reported by TCI team sponsor Bambarra Rum; “After a rough year, Pierre says one of the most exciting moments was when his navigator told him at the start of the final race (stage) that they had a third-place finish. Touting the theme “consistency pays off” Pierre held his ground on Sunday realizing that one tiny slip and his closest competitor could have knocked him out of third place victory.”
