Jamaican Alex Powell completed an eventful weekend, including a written-off chassis, at Circuito South Garda Karting in Lonato, Italy by registering a pair of 7th place finishes in the Pre-Final and Final.
Starting both races from 13th on the grid, he worked his way through heavy traffic, getting as high as 6th position in the Final before being passed, relegating him back to 7th. Despite the difficulties encountered, Alex is fourth overall in the Euro Series Championship.
Alex’s next race is the final Round 4 of the WSK Euro Series at the Adria International Raceway, Italy on June 26 to June 29, 2019.
