Jamaican Fraser McConnell scored two wins in four Heats at the legendary Höljes Motorstadion circuit, venue for the Swecon World RX of Sweden, Round 5 of the RX2 International Championship on July 7th.
Starting his Semi-Final in P2, Fraser was relegated to third due to a spectacular Joker lap by winner Ben-Philip Gunderson. With a difficult P6 staring position in the Final, his progress was blocked by tight racing, settling for 5th at the finish. Fraser maintains third in the Championship points standings, closing the gap on leader Oliver Ericksson.
Round six of the RX2 International Series is the Bretagne World RX of France on Aug 31 to Sep 1.
