Jamaican Fraser McConnell scored hard fought double wins in Rounds 5 & 6 of the ARX2 Rally Cross of Canada at the Grand Prix De Trois-Rivières on August 2nd to 4th.

With the memory of 2018’s troubles at the same venue as motivation, Fraser started the weekend strong by winning the first two qualifying heats outright and finishing second in the third. The Final was a battle with 2018 series champion Conner Martell but a great start by Fraser saw him take the lead going into the first corner and never relinquishing, taking the Round 5 win and extending his series points lead.

Sunday’s Round 6 qualifying heats were all about Conner Martell, as he claimed fastest overall in each heat and pole position for the Final. Fraser’s trademark rapid start propelled him into the lead and a brilliant joker lap resulted in a breathtaking finish, securing the weekend double victory, sweet redemption and more points in the championship battle. Fraser dedicated his victories to his fans and the people of Jamaica celebrating Independence.

Fraser’s next ARX2 event is the ARX of COTA in Austin, Texas on September 28th.

JMMC congratulates him for his wins.
