Jamaican Alex Powell is presently contesting the ROK Cup Superfinal at the International South Garda Circuit of Lonato, Italy. The four day event began on Thursday October 9th and will conclude on Sunday October 12th.
On Thursday Alex qualified 19th of 127 entries in the competitive Mini ROK class, earning a spot on the second row of the E group grid. After dropping to 6th at the start of the day’s only Heat, steady progress produced a 1st place finish. On Thursday, Alex maintained 3rd place throughout Heat 2 before mounting another charge to the front in Heat 3, claiming another 1st place. Alex will have one more Heat on Saturday before the Final.
