General Notice 2024-006To: All Circuit Racing Competitors
In preparation for the Jamaica Race Drivers Club (JRDC) Carnival Of Speed event on April 1, 2024 the JMMC reminds all Circuit Racing competitors that in accordance with FIA International Sporting Code Article 9.6 all 2023 competition licenses expired on December 31, 2023.
Per FIA International Sporting Code Articles 9.1, 9.2.1 and 9.3.1 as well as local event insurance requirements, Licenses are required for national JMMC and international sanctioned events including Circuit racing, Sprints, Rallies, Rallycross, Karting, Drag racing, Drifting and Dexterity Tests.
The JMMC portal for new licenses or license renewal for the 2024 race season is open, all forms and relevant documentation for the application of licenses may be found at https://jamaicamotorsports.com/licences/
Please be aware that no competition license applications will be processed at the event itself. Licenses must therefore be applied for or renewed before Wednesday March 27, 2024 to allow for processing before the Easter weekend.
