A promising start to Round 2 of the Italian Formula 4 Championship came to an abrupt end for Jamaican Alex Powell when he suffered front wing damage at the start, forcing him to retire from the race. Powell had gained three positions before retiring.
Despite the DNF, Powell remains second in the overall championship and leads the rookie championship standings.
