At Round 3 of the Italian F4 Championship, which took place at the Piero Taruffi Circuit in Vallelunga, Jamaican Alex Powell returned to the podium following misfortunes in Race 1, where his front wing was broken in a tough battle with teammate Dion Gowda. In Race 2, the Mercedes Junior driver from Prema Racing maintained his P2 from qualifying, defended his position without taking risks from occasional attacks from behind, and secured another P2 podium in Race 3 after starting from pole. He also secured two victories in the Rookie class.

Powell’s podium finishes move him up to third in the overall standings and second in the Rookie standings. There are four rounds left in the 2024 Championship, with the next race being at the Mugello circuit on July 12–14.

JMMC congratulates Alex for his double podium finishes.
