The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC), the FIA-recognised governing body for motor sport in Jamaica, is pleased to announce the release of its 2026 National Motor Sport Calendar, outlining a full year of sanctioned competition across multiple disciplines.

The 2026 calendar reflects JMMC’s continued commitment to the structured growth, safety, and accessibility of motor sport in Jamaica, with a total of 45 sanctioned events scheduled nationwide. These events span both grassroots and elite competition formats, offering opportunities for competitors, officials, volunteers, and fans to engage throughout the year.

The provisional breakdown of events by discipline is as follows:

  • Circuit Racing: 4 events
  • Drag Racing: 7 events
  • Dexterity Tests: 10 events
  • Drifting: 5 events
  • Karting: 10 events
  • Rallies: 1 event
  • Sprints: 6 events

In addition, two weekends in December have been reserved within the calendar. One will accommodate a Drag Racing event and the other a Rally event, both to be formally assigned and confirmed at a later date, subject to final approvals and logistical considerations.

Commenting on the release of the calendar, JMMC President Stephen Gunter stated:
“This calendar reflects the continued maturation of Jamaican motor sport. With 45 sanctioned events across seven disciplines, we are providing consistency, opportunity, and a clear pathway for competitors and officials, while giving fans an exciting season to look forward to.”

The JMMC encourages all competitors, event officials, volunteers, sponsors, and motor sport fans to review the calendar and begin planning their participation and attendance across what promises to be an exciting and diverse 2026 motor sport season.
