The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) congratulates Jamaican-American rising star Alex Powell on his official signing with Pinnacle Motorsport for the 2026 Formula Regional Middle East Trophy season.
The 18-year-old driver continues his ascent through the international single-seater ranks after an impressive 2025 campaign that saw him finish runner-up in the F4 Middle East Championship, ninth in Italian F4, and fifth in the E4 Championship. His F4 Middle East result firmly established Powell as one of the most promising young talents in the region.
Now stepping up to Formula Regional competition, Powell joins Pinnacle Motorsport’s Formula Regional Middle East lineup for 2026, a critical progression step on the global pathway toward the highest levels of motorsport.
Powell has already made a strong impression with his new team during pre-season testing, topping the timesheets in Test Session #2, immediately demonstrating his pace and adaptability in the Formula Regional machinery.
