Over the next twenty-four hours, the Jamaica Simulation Racing Association will hold its GT3 Qualifiers for the FIA Motorsport Games, which takes place in Valencia, Spain on 23-27 October 2024.
The Qualifiers are aimed to select SIM-racers to represent Jamaica at the Games. Additionally, the JSRA will also hold a qualifier on August 10 for the Formula 4 (IRacing) category for the FIA Motorsport Games, as well as another GT3 qualifier on August 11 for the Global Esports Games on December 4.
1. GT3 Qualifying Session Format:
Date & Time: August 4, 2024 8:00pm to August 5, 2024 8:00pm
Track Location: Spain
Car: Mercedes-Benz GT3
Track: Valencia
Platform: Assetto Corsa Competizione (PC)
• The qualification process will consist of a dedicated qualifying session beginning August 4th at 8:00pm EST to August 5th 8:00pm EST in order to select the driver who will represent Jamaica in the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, Spain.
• During this session, drivers will be required to complete 10 valid laps (excluding the in-lap and out-lap). These laps must be consistent and represent the driver’s skill and speed.
• The average time of these 10 consistent laps will be calculated to determine the driver’s final qualifying result.
• Drivers will have the entire 24-hour qualifying period to set their 10 laps, with as many attempts allowed as desired within this timeframe.
2. GT3 Car and Server Specifications
All qualifying laps must be completed using the 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3 car.
Times must be set on the official JSRA server designated for the qualifiers.
