Top Jamaican rally crew Jeffrey Panton/Mike Fennell has left the island to participate in the 2012 staging of the Caribbean’s largest annual motorsports event: SOL Rally Barbados and its support event: the Shell V-Power King of the Hill, the latter scheduled for this Sunday, June 3 and the rally itself to follow in a week (June 9/10).

Many time Jamaican December rally winner and 2011 Rally Trinidad champion Jeffrey Panton is set to have his second competitive outing in his 2006 Ford Focus World rally Car, previously driven by Marcus Gronholm and Matthew Wilson in the World Rally Championship. Panton quickly came to grips with the new car to place 2nd to the team of  John Powell /Nicholas Telfer driving the Shell Helix/Intercontinental Shipping Subaru S14 WRC on Rally Trinidad 2012 staged earlier this year in March.
