Jamaican representative Beckham Toupikov finished a strong second place in Meet #4 of the Ocala Gran Prix Local Fall/Winter Series last weekend, Sunday December 9th.

Racing in the Micro Swift class, Beckham showed constant improvement on the Ocala track, his first race meet outside of Jamaica. After qualifying in 4th, he improved to 3rd place in the Pre-Final, before finishing 2nd in the Final itself. Beckham recorded faster lap times in every track session.

His sister Scarlett, racing for only the second time in her just-started career, was forced to step up to the Mini ROK class. She qualified 13th against her much more experienced competitors, then improved by two positions to finish 11th in the Pre-Final. She finished 12th in the Final.
