Jamaican Collin Daley Jnr returned to Shifter kart competition at Round 2 of the 2019 ROC Florida Winter Tour, February 14 to 17 and recorded another Top 10 finish, securing 6th place in the Final.
Daley, who races with the DR Racing Kart North America team, qualified 10th then finished a DNF 22nd in Friday’s Heat 1 due to a crash. On Saturday he moved up to finish 6th in Heat 2, then 7th in Heat 3. Despite being only 11th fastest in Sunday’s warm-up, he drove well to finish 6th in the Pre-Final. In the Final to made his way to 4th before being pushed wide off the track into 6th place.
