Jamaican racer Collin Daley Jr returned to karting action at the F-Series RD #1 Gearup Challenge, held at the GoPro Motorplex in North Carolina on April 26th & 27th, with impressive results.
Driving in two separate classes on the same weekend, Daley qualified 16th in Formula TAG before finishing 10th in Race 1, then 7th in Race 2 before coping his first podium of the weekend by finishing 3rd in Race 3.
In Shifter KZ, Daley qualified a promising 7th but luck seemingly ran out when his engine seized while finishing 12th in the Pre-Final. After changing the cylinder and piston of the seized engine, Daley started the Final from the back of the eighteen kart field, driving with remarkable speed and determination to claim 2nd place at the checkered flag; his second podium of the weekend.
