Jamaican representative Beckham Toupikov is in Pavia, Italy, making his European debut at Round 2 of the WSK open Cup at the International Circuit 7 Lakes in Castelletto di Branduzzo from Nov 7 to Nov 11. Toupikiv is the second Jamaican to race in the series, following the successful debut of Alex Powell in 2018.
Racing in the Mini 60 class, Toupikov is also driving in rain and all-wet conditions for the first time, as it has been raining for the past two days. Despite the conditions, Toupikov qualified 12th in his group, and will start his first Heat in 16th. He races in Group A.
