The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) extends congratulations to Jamaican rallycross star Fraser McConnell, who delivered a stunning double victory at the RallyX double-header in Nysum, Denmark, on August 2–3.
Returning to the track where he claimed his first Supercar win in 2021, McConnell dominated the FC2 category across both days of racing. On Saturday, he stunned the field with a bold “around the outside” move in qualifying before going on to secure his first win of the 2025 season. He followed up on Sunday with an even stronger performance, leading from start to finish in both the semi-final and final to complete a clean sweep.
“It was great to finally get that 1st place monkey off my back,” McConnell said. “I’ve had several podiums this season but nothing is as sweet as the Top Step.”
The double triumph has transformed the championship standings, lifting McConnell from third place to just two points behind leader Casper Jansson ahead of the season finale in Estering, Germany, on August 9–10.
JMMC Chairman Stephen Gunter praised the achievement: “Fraser continues to make Jamaica proud with his remarkable talent and consistency on the international stage. His double victory in Denmark is a testament to his skill, resilience, and determination.”
