The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) is proud to announce that it has been selected as a Regional Champion for Region III (North America) in the prestigious FIA Innovation Challenge 2025.
The award was formally presented to the JMMC by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem during the 2025 FIA American Congress, held in Asunción, Paraguay in early August.
The FIA Innovation Challenge celebrates and showcases Club projects worldwide that drive growth and development in Mobility. The initiative benefits participants by elevating their visibility and impact, while fostering knowledge and experience sharing across the entire global FIA network.
The JMMC’s winning project, titled RoadReach, is a cutting-edge Mobility app designed to be “your personal roadside guardian.” Recognizing that life happens on the road, RoadReach ensures customers are never truly alone in critical moments. It is a comprehensive real-time incident, safety, and emergency response platform that provides on-demand visibility and communication when it matters most.
By transforming how automobile clubs and insurance companies deliver value to their customers, RoadReach represents a significant step forward in the digital evolution of roadside support and member services.
“Being recognized as a Region III Champion is a tremendous honor for Jamaica and for the JMMC,” said Stephen Gunter, President of the JMMC. “RoadReach is more than just an app—it’s a commitment to making road travel safer, smarter, and more reassuring for everyone. We are proud to showcase how innovation from a small island nation can have a global impact, and are excited that other FIA Mobility clubs have expressed serious interest.”
As a Regional Champion, the JMMC now advances to the Global Finals of the Innovation Challenge, where one project from each FIA Region will be chosen as the Global Winner.
