Jamaican representative Alex Powell finished 3rd, 2nd then 1st in Eliminatory Heats A-B, B-E and B-C today (Saturday June 23) at the WSK Open Cup being held at Circuito South Garda Karting in Lonato Dek Garda, Brescia, Italy.
Alex’s race weekend continues tomorrow, Sunday June 24, with a warm-up and a Pre-Final where only the top 34 out of 90 drivers will advice to the Final.
“Alex has been driving extremely well by finishing in the top 3 in all his heats. We are all very proud of him” says John Powell, his Father.
