Suffering from a stomach ailment all weekend, Jamaican representative Alex Powell nonetheless fought hard at the Campionato Italiano ACI Krating event held at South Garda Karting in Lonato BS, Italy on July 1, 2018.
Starting 27th in his Pre-Final, Alex made up 10 positions to finish 17th. In the Final, he overtook another 6 competitors, finishing just outside the top 10 in 11th place out of 35 racers.
Although a podium finish wasn’t in the cards for Alex he continues to represent Energy Course SRL and Jamaica well despite difficult circumstances.
