Jamaica’s reigning DRC Rally Driver Champion and FIA Americas Awardee Fraser McConnell will make his rallycross debut next weekend as a member of the DirtFish Motorsports four-car team.
The Americas Rallycross ARX event will be the first to use the new rallycross track at Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) at the official unveiling on July 14, 2018. The new track was built to host a round of the FIA World Rallycross (WRX) championship in September.
McConnell says, “I feel honored to be representing my home country of Jamaica and DirtFish Motorsports on the international stage in Americas Rallycross and can’t wait to impress. This is a dream come true!”
The JMMC has made all necessary licensing arrangements and wish Fraser good luck as he enters this exciting genre of motor sport.
