Jamaican representative Alex Powell has won Round 1 of the WSK Final Cup at the South Garda Karting circuit in Italy, finishing 1.636 seconds ahead of Brando Badoer, son of former Ferrari F1 driver Luca Badoer.
On a dominant weekend, Alex won each of his 5 Heats, the PreFinal and Final to claim the overall win and is the points leader in the three-event WSK Final Cup series.
The second round of the series will be held in Castelletto, Italy from November 1st to 4th.
