The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC) is proud to announce the successful staging of its Circuit Racing Seminar on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Dover Raceway, St. Ann. The full-day programme, delivered in collaboration with the Jamaica Race Drivers Club (JRDC) and Swiftune, ran from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and attracted 49 participants.

All attendees completed the seminar and received official JMMC Certificates of Participation, underscoring their commitment to motorsport excellence.

The seminar covered critical topics to enhance both competitive and administrative aspects of circuit racing, including:

  • Regulations
  • Technical Inspection & Safety Gear
  • Race Day Operations
  • Driving 101
  • Protests & Appeals

Presenters included:

  • Stephen Gunter – JMMC Chairman & Chief Presenter, Moderator
  • Mark Forbes – Senior Instructor, BMW Car Club of America, who delivered “Driving 101” with international-level insights
  • Ibraheem Khan – FIA International Steward
  • Chris Elliott – FIA Regional Steward & FIA Drag Racing Commission Member
  • Rajendra Jadusingh & Maurice Thompson – Technical Inspection & Safety Gear

The seminar strengthened knowledge of race regulations, stewarding, safety, and driving techniques while fostering greater collaboration between the JMMC, JRDC, and partners. Participants gained valuable exposure to international best practices and left better prepared to compete, officiate, and contribute to the continued growth of circuit racing in Jamaica.
